Kitchen Jam

There's the kitchen party and then there's the kitchen jam party...

Off the wagon...

Well the inevitable happened. It's A cold stormy Friday evening and my
boys just showed up with a gift I couldn't reject. I lasted 26 days
and that's a feat in itself so I'll still give myself a pat on the back.

TGIF + Sushi = Happy Starlovin

I just inhaled 14 pieces of sushi from Fuji Sushi. I am quite content
and euphoric at the moment. If sushi was a drug it would be my heroin.
Except I wouldn't inject it or snort it, I would just eat it with
chopsticks. I did however see Steve-O snort a ball of wasabi once. He
puked instantly. What a jackass.

*Note: I have never used heroin before. Drugs are bad.

Croque-Monsieur

Just hanging out at my folks place. My little girl is helping make
dinner. I'm relaxing by the fireplace. It's Thursday evening and all
is well.

Staying alive.....

Hello there. Haven't posted much in the last couple days. Didn't have
much to report. But here I am. Still alive after 25 days without booze.

On another note, did anyone watch Lost last night?? That show is just
total shock and awe. None of my friends watch the show so I'm forced
to discuss it with strangers online. Who is the good guy? Ben or
Charles?????

Dog Day Afternoon

This is my dog Jazz aka Mr. Jazzoo. Looking at this pic you'd think
he's a sweet little cocker spaniel. This is hardly the case. My
friends and family will agree that he's the craziest dog ever. I love
him to death though. Dog Whisperer, if you're reading this, you have
just met you ultimate challenge.

My other wife...

After spending several hours trying to install Cubase I finally got it
running. Busted out my guitar and recorded a few solos for the new
Rehab Dolls album. Man I'm so glad to rock it up in the comfort of my
own home.

Studio in a box...

Just picked up some recording software which almost completes my mini digital audio workstation. Just a few more toys and I'm good to go!

Today's lunch... Wonderful!

I'm at a restaurant called Bistro St. Jacques in Hull for a co-
worker's going away party. My meal is so yummy I had to take a
picture. It's a gourmet veggie wrap. Vegetarian meals in restaurants
tend to bland an boring. Today I'm pleasantly surprised.

Water does a body good...

It's been 19 days without any alcohol and I feel great. 11 more days
to go. I challenge any of my friends to try and beat my record.

The other view at work...

This is what I stare at for 7.5 hours a day. I could name you a million things I'd rather be staring at right now but instead I'll just name one thing: Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera making out with Madonna.

Winterlude

Went to Winterlude last night with my daughter, my bud and his kid. We saw a performance by the Junkyard Symphony, ate beaver tails and drank hot chocolate. I felt like a true Canadian. Then I went home and watched Battlestar Galactica and felt like a true Cylon. Oh #6, how I love thee.

Office Space...

I'm inside a cube that is inside a multitude of cubes that is on a floor full of cubes. Kinda reminds me of an interesting Canadian movie called Cube. Except without the gruesome and bloody scenes.

James Street Pub

So we never made it to Winterlude. We did however make it to James Street Pub for some veggie burgers. No beer for me though. I'm on day 15.

For Valentines Day my wife and I decided to celebrate by painting our
bathroom. No more yucky mustard color.

It's Friday. I'm at work and I wish this glass was full of beer.
Instead it will be filled with water. It's been 12 days since my last
beer. 18 more days to go! Then I can enjoy a nice cold crispy Heinken
once again.

Friday afternoons are so...

Looking out of my office window I see an OC Transpo bus. It's good to have the buses running again.

Hello, I am Starlovin.

I've always wanted a window office and now that I have one, I almost prefer not having one. Never realized how bright the sun was. Good thing I have my shades with me at all times. I'll keep the window office because it makes me feel special...
